As part of the Film Society’s ongoing series “50 Years of the New York Film Festival” we recently showed Martin Scorsese’s breakout picture Mean Streets, which originally appeared at the 11th NYFF in 1973. The screening was preceded by an introduction from the legendary director and followed up with a detailed Q&A. If you were not in attendance or just want to hear the director’s insights again, we are pleased to announce that full video has gone up online for all to see. Enjoy!
