The screening on July 15 takes place at Lincoln Center’s Hearst Plaza (entry located along the west side of Barclay’s Grove) at 10pm. Learn more here.

1. General Admission: first-come-first-served. Entrance opens 30 minutes prior to start time.
2. Limited Advance Reservation will also be available for this event, opening Tuesday, July 12 at noon.

When three hundred thousand members of the Love Generation collided with a few dozen Hells Angels at San Francisco’s Altamont Speedway, Direct Cinema pioneers David and Albert Maysles and Charlotte Zwerin were there to immortalize on film the bloody slash that transformed a decade’s dreams into disillusionment.
