Bare Feet in NYC with Mickela Mallozzi, a 30-minute TV travel series, follows Emmy Award–winning host Mickela Mallozzi as she combines her two passions in life: travel and dance. Accompanied by clips from the episode “Little Brazil,” Mallozzi and director of photography Lina Plioplyte will discuss the challenges, obstacles, and magical moments that happen while documenting artistic preservation in ethnic neighborhoods throughout New York City’s five boroughs. Bare Feet in NYC with Mickela Mallozzi is an official coproduction with NYC Media, which is part of the NYC Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment.
