Costars Robert Goulet, Red Buttons, Hermoine Gingold, Paul Frees, and Morey Amsterdam contribute to the fun, and the animation is frequently remarkable or stunning. “Paris Is a Lonely Town” and “Little Drops of Rain” highlight the eight new songs by Harold Arlen and E. Y. Harburg.
