Singular auteur Pang Ho-cheung strikes again with his brilliant combination of uproarious lowbrow gags and insightful humanism. A Chinese New Year movie whose literal title is “Congratulations Bitches,” the freewheeling Missbehavior is on the surface a wild comedy built around a desperate scavenger hunt for breast milk, but at its heart, it’s about the profundity of true friendship. Replete with sexual hang-ups, mean-girl feuds, and literal bathroom humor, nothing is sacred in Pang’s twisted but endearingly frank universe. So much so, he even makes a cameo as a womanizer caught between a rock and a hard place.
