Hong Kong screen legend Stephen Chow directs and co-stars in this high-octane, cult-favorite genre mashup, in which a down-and-out footballer joins forces with an idealistic kung fu master in hopes of leading their ragtag team of Shaolin monks to victory on the pitch.

This free outdoor screening is part of Summer for the City Outdoor Film Series: Penalty Flicks, taking place July 9–18 at Lincoln Center’s Hearst Plaza. (30 Lincoln Center Plaza, New York, NY 10023).
There are two ways to access this free event:
1. General Admission, first-come first-served. Just show up!
2. Fast Track opening the Monday before the event at noon for all.
Information to note:
- The entrance is on the South side of Hearst Plaza between The Metropolitan Opera House and Barclays Grove.
- Ticket gates open generally 30 minutes before showtime.
- Lincoln Center will provide high-fidelity headphones to borrow for the duration of the event. Personal headphones will not be usable.
- Food and beverages will be available for purchase on Lincoln Center’s campus. Outside food and beverage is not permitted at the venue.
- Refillable water station available in David Geffen Hall lobby.
- All gender restrooms with accessible stalls and companion restrooms are located in the lobby of David Geffen Hall.
- Guests will go through Evolv security machines before entering the performance space.
- Pets are not permitted on Hearst Plaza during events. Service animals are welcome.
