On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the release of Elaine May’s third feature—the emotionally potent Mikey and Nicky, starring John Cassavetes and Peter Falk—Film at Lincoln Center presents a special look back at May’s incomparable career behind the camera, featuring a revival run of Mikey and Nicky in a 4K restoration supervised by May, as well as screenings of her seminal debut A New Leaf; her fourth work as a director, Ishtar; and a very special in-person appearance by May and Mikey and Nicky producer Julian Schlossberg.
