A new restoration of Eric Rohmer's Full Moon in Paris will open at the Film Society of Lincoln Center on April 17. The two-week exclusive run coincides with our retrospective of Rohmer's Comedies and Proverbs cycle (click here for full lineup).

Upon its first release in 1984, Vincent Canby of the New York Times called Full Moon in Paris “a small masterpiece… ranks with the very best of Rohmer.” The film was nominated for five CĂ©sar Awards and Pascale Ogier's performance as Louise earned her the Best Actress prize at the Venice Film Festival.

This new digital restoration, courtesy of Film Movement Classics, also brings a brand new trailer and poster for the film, which we're excited to premiere right here on FilmLinc Daily. Like what you see? Let us know on Facebook or Twitter!
