Co-directed by Jake Meginsky and Neil Young, the film is a radical portrait of experimental jazz icon Milford Graves, who has played with Albert Ayler, Giuseppe Logan, and Sonny Shamrock. Neil Young, Jake Meginsky, and Milford Graves all joined us after the screening.

After that, you’ll hear our discussion of this year’s Opening Night selection, John McEnroe: In the Realm of Perfection, Julien Faraut’s sophisticated and witty found-footage ode to tennis legend John McEnroe. The director joined us after the screening for a Q&A.
