Free Outdoor Screening: Monsieur Hulot’s Holiday
The screening on July 23 takes place at Lincoln Center’s Hearst Plaza (entry located along the west side of Barclay’s Grove) at 9pm. Learn more here.
There are two ways to access this event:
1. General Admission: first-come-first-served. Entrance opens 30 minutes prior to start time.
2. Limited Advance Reservation will also be available for this event, opening Monday, July 18 at noon.
Monsieur Hulot, Jacques Tati’s endearing clown, takes a holiday at a seaside resort, where his presence provokes one catastrophe after another. Tati’s masterpiece of gentle slapstick is a series of effortlessly well-choreographed sight gags involving dogs, boats, and firecrackers; it was the first entry in the Hulot series and the film that launched its maker to international stardom.
