High-schooler Shishigami (Takeru Satoh of the Rurouni Kenshin franchise) shares the same other-worldly fate, but while Inuyashiki uses his new superpowers to help people, Shishigami seeks to wreak havoc on humanity, setting the stage for an inevitable, epic showdown between the teenager and the senior citizen. This stunning adaptation of Hiroya Oku’s best-selling manga brings to life the flesh and blood of its characters and adds an ironic, genuinely original twist to the superhero genre. North American premiere
