ORIGINAL TITLE
搗破法蘭克

A crew of millennial provocateurs armed with guns and bunny masks pulls off audacious heists of wealthy storefronts in Robin Hood fashion. This motley squad, known as Frank, are in it not so much for the money as the polemic subversion of the greedy upper class, using daring graffiti and viral videos to expose their targets for who they really are. However, they may have bitten off more than they can chew when they find themselves up against a high-powered sham church and a money-laundering scheme, forcing them to fight for their lives. Smashing Frank features a striking young cast led by Hedwig Tam and announces an exciting new filmmaker in Trevor Choi. Melding old-school hyperbolic Hong Kong crime-action tropes with the flashy new video stylings of the YouTube/TikTok generation, Choi cuts a bold and fresh swath across the screen.
