A YouTuber and a handsome con man join forces to exact revenge on her unscrupulous ex in this taut heist movie–cum–rom-com that knows no bounds.
The Con-Heartist is available in the FLC Virtual Cinema beginning August 16. Get tickets here.
Spirited YouTuber Ina barely escapes being swindled by the handsome but conniving Tower. In a twist of fate, they join forces to exact revenge on Ina’s unscrupulous ex, who conned her out of a large sum of money. Adapting the flashy camera tricks, hyper pacing, and short-attention-span storytelling style of today’s media, The Con-Heartist gives rise to a nonstop barrage of hilarious set pieces. It’s a taut heist movie–cum–rom-com that knows no bounds, replete with wacky sound cues, neck-breaking twists, manic touches of slapstick, and some Thai-styled lowbrow gags for good measure.
