Young Ahmed, the latest from Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne, directors of Rosetta, L’enfant, and The Kid with a Bike, will have its North American Premiere at this year’s NYFF. Another intimate portrayal-in-furious-motion of a protagonist in crisis, it earned the Belgian filmmaking duo this year’s Best Director award at the Cannes Film Festival.
