Writing New York: Hosted by Writers Guild of America, East
57th New York Film Festival
September 27 - October 13, 2019
Panelists include JC Chandor (A Most Violent Year), Geoffrey Fletcher (Precious), Gillian Robespierre (Obvious Child, Landline), and Steven Zaillian (The Irishman). Moderated by Paul Schrader (First Reformed, The Last Temptation of Christ).
Join the Writers Guild of America, East for a celebration of writers who understand that New York City is more than the quintessential urban landscape, more even than a state of mind: it’s a supporting character in the stories these writers tell. New York is also a foil for their other characters—an object of affection, consternation, fear, and inimitable beauty.
Online RSVPs will open at 10am the day prior to the event. Skip the box office by showing your print-at-home ticket (printed or on your mobile device) to the theater usher. You must show up at least 30 minutes in advance or your seat may be forfeited.
Please note: Walk-ups will still be accepted; tickets to be distributed on a space-available basis.
