The 58th New York Film Festival continued last night with a sold-out Revivals screening of the new 4K 20th anniversary restoration Wong Kar Wai’s swoon-inducing classic In the Mood for Love at the Queens Drive-In. Maggie Cheung and Tony Leung, the star-crossed dream team of the early 2000s art house, play next-door neighbors who, upon discovering that their spouses are carrying on an affair, start a platonic romance of their own amid the alleyways and noodle shops of 1960s Hong Kong.
Nationwide virtual tickets for the new restoration are currently available here, screening through October 3 at 8pm ET with an exclusive introduction by Wong Kar Wai.
