The captivating directorial debut of Jill Leung, Last Song For You is a soulful, time-bending ode to lost love, shared memories, and the healing power of the perfect song. Shot across Hong Kong and Japan, capturing glorious landscapes in both and channeling the 1990s golden era of Hong Kong cinema, this supernatural romance exudes nostalgia and youthful passion. When has-been pop star So Sing Wah (Cantopop legend Ekin Cheng) reluctantly agrees to join Summer, the daughter of his high school crush, Ha (a heart-melting Natalie Hsu), on a journey to Japan to scatter Ha’s ashes, little does he suspect that the trip will unravel not just distance, but time itself. In their teens, So (rising star Ian Chan of Cantopop group Mirror) and Ha shared music, hopes, and dreams, until a sudden departure changed everything. Now, in this swooningly lyrical heartbreaker with timeless resonance, they have a second chance.
