Why should I become a member or patron of Film at Lincoln Center?
One of the biggest reasons for joining as a Member of Film at Lincoln Center is for access to the lowest price on movie tickets. Member priced tickets are always at least $5 off every film and special event when compared to the general public price. Another major reason for becoming a Film at Lincoln Center member is early access to seats at the prestigious New York Film Festival (available to Contributor level members and above). In fact, members receive early ticket access to all film festivals hosted here, year-round. Finally, Film at Lincoln Center is a nonprofit, meaning your membership support acts as a charitable contribution. However, there are many other benefits to becoming a member! Click here to learn more about the different levels of membership and benefits and choose the one that’s right for you.
Do members get free tickets to see movies?
Yes! Members receive free (complimentary) tickets to eligible Film at Lincoln Center screenings at the Contributor, Friend, Angel, and New Wave levels. Along with tickets, members at this level and above also receive complimentary concessions at all Film at Lincoln Center theaters. Members also receive special invitations to attend selected screenings for free year-round.
How do I use my complimentary screening tickets?
Members receive a punch card to redeem complimentary tickets in person at the box office.
Patrons should contact the Patrons Desk directly to redeem their complimentary tickets (firstname.lastname@example.org, 212-875-5668). Hours and contact information for both can be found on the back of your membership/patron card. Box office staff can also assist if the Membership or Patrons desks are not available.
