Last Tuesday, Homeland star and co-executive producer Claire Danes joined executive producer and DGA-winning director Lesli Linka Glatter for an evening celebrating Showtime’s Emmy and Golden Globe Award®–winning series. For five seasons, Danes and Glatter have collaborated closely to deliver a gripping, emotional thriller.

The event kicked off with a screening of a fifth-season episode directed by Glatter, which was followed by an in-depth discussion with Danes and Glatter moderated by Vanity Fair‘s James Wolcott and featuring clips from the show. The talk was followed by an audience Q&A. It was a rare chance for the women to share with audiences what goes into making an iconic television series. Check out these photos from the event.
