On this week’s podcast, we’re featuring two Q&As for films now playing here at the Film Society.

First, you’ll hear Ahmad Kiarostami discuss his late father’s final film, 24 Frames, which consists of 24 four-and-a-half-minute sketches elaborating on the filmmaker’s lifelong fascination with photography.

After that, you’ll hear a Q&A with Sebastián Lelio, the director of A Fantastic Woman, which is nominated for the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film. It stars newcomer Daniela Vega as Marina, a transgender waitress and aspiring singer coping with the untimely death of her boyfriend as she faces scrutiny from authorities and family members.
