Opening this Friday here at the Film Society is Eliza Hittman’s Beach Rats, a drama which follows a closeted Brooklyn teenager struggling to reconcile his conflicting sexual urges. The film was the Centerpiece selection of the New Directors / New Films festival earlier this year, and after the screening the director joined us for a Q&A along with cast members Harris Dickinson, Madeline Weinstein, David Ivanov, and Frank Hakaj. This Sunday, after the 4:30pm screening of Beach Rats, Hittman will return to the Film Society for a post-screening Q&A. Reserve tickets here.
