Damsel Sneak Preview with David and Nathan Zellner
Q&A with David and Nathan Zellner
The fourth feature from brothers David and Nathan Zellner (Kumiko, the Treasure Hunter) is a sharp, clever, farcical reinvention of the western genre. A moneyed, seemingly guileless pioneer (Robert Pattinson) ventures across the Wild West with a drunken clergyman (David Zellner) and a miniature horse to marry the love of his life (Mia Wasikowska). As they traverse the frontier, their once-simple journey grows treacherous and the lines between hero, villain, and damsel start to blur. Damsel showcases the Zellner brothers’ trademark unpredictability, off-kilter sense of humor, and unique brand of humanism. A Magnolia Pictures release.
