In this very special showcase, we’re pleased to present a selection of the ten best short films made by students in Film Society Kids, a program that supports literacy learning through visual storytelling. These shorts will immerse viewers in the art of the silent film, as seen through the eyes of children of all abilities from neighboring Public Elementary Schools. The screening, welcoming community members of all ages and abilities, will be followed by an audience discussion with the Film Society’s Director of Education. This event is part of Lincoln Center’s Big Umbrella Festival, taking place April 10 through May 6. See the full list of events here.

Tickets to this event are free and open to the public. Tickets may be reserved online or at the Elinor Bunin Munroe Film Center box office (144 West 65th Street, between Broadway and Amsterdam).
