Complete Lineup for the 45th Annual New Directors/New Films

The Film Society of Lincoln Center and The Museum of Modern Art announce the complete lineup for the 45th annual New Directors/New Films (ND/NF), March 16-27. Since 1972, the festival has been an annual rite of early spring in New York City, bringing exciting discoveries from around the world to adventurous moviegoers. Morgan Freeman announced as recipient of the 43rd Chaplin Award

The Film Society of Lincoln Center announced today that Academy Award–winning actor Morgan Freeman will be honored at the 43rd Annual Chaplin Award Gala held at Lincoln Center on Monday, April 25, 2016. The evening will celebrate the remarkable talent of an actor who has portrayed some of the most memorable characters committed to film. The event will be attended by a host of notable guests and will include movie and interview clips culminating in the presentation of The Chaplin Award. The Film Society of Lincoln Center announces Golden Days: The Films of Arnaud Desplechin, a survey of the acclaimed filmmaker’s oeuvre celebrating the theatrical premiere of his latest opus, My Golden Days, which was an official selection of the 53rd New York Film Festival. Industry Academy announced and will take place in New York, March 20-23

New York, NY (January 25, 2016) – The Film Society of Lincoln Center and the Locarno International Film Festival announced today the launch of a new joint initiative in the U.S., the Industry Academy International.
