New York filmmaker Ira Sachs returned to the Film Society to discuss his latest film, Little Men, alongside two of its stars, Oscar-nominee Greg Kinnear and BAFTA Award–winner Jennifer Ehle, at a Free Talk in our Amphitheater, sponsored by HBO. Much like Sachs’s last film, Love Is Strange, Little Men captures the modern New York landscape, this time with a tender and intelligent coming-of-age story centered on 13-year-old Jake, whose family moves from Manhattan to Brooklyn, where he befriends a charismatic kid named Tony.
Little Men opens at the Film Society on Friday, August 5, with Sachs in person to discuss the film that night at 7:30pm and on Sunday, August 7, at 3:30pm.
