Following a Sneak Preview screening of his English-language debut, Louder Than Bombs, renowned Norweigan filmmaker Joachim Trier joined star Gabriel Byrne to discuss the movie with the Film Society’s Dennis Lim. Trier is no stranger to the Film Society, as both of his prior feature-length works, Reprise and Oslo, August 31st, were selections of New Directors/New Films. Louder Than Bombs follows a husband (Byrne) and his two sons (Jesse Eisenberg and Devin Druid) as they unearth secrets three years after the death of their wife/mother (Isabelle Huppert).
