New York Film Festival Filmmaker Operations Intern

The Operations intern works closely with the NYFF Production and Operations team to keep vital festival information organized and flowing smoothly to the rest of staff.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintaining Festival Database updates as directed;
  • Assisting the Operations Coordinator with oversight of the initial credential assembly process;
  • Printing and delivering Press/Industry and Development credentials daily during the Festival;
  • Assist Operations Coordinator with oversight of merchandise volunteers;
  • Keeping track of merchandise inventory throughout the festival;
  • Assist Operations Coordinator with creation and distribution of Programmer scripts;
  • Overseeing merchandise reports with the Operations Coordinator.

Skills Required:

  • Availability at least 3 days per week;
  • Meticulous attention to detail;
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • Excellent communication skills.

Public Relations Fall Internship 

Description:

The Film Society of Lincoln Center is looking for a motivated, determined, and organized candidate to join our public relations team. The ideal candidate must be in college to receive college credit and available two days a week during the hours 10:30 – 5:00 (can be flexible). Past PR experience in the film industry is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Collecting press breaks, tracking and organizing all incoming press, and keeping press archives organized
  • Sending out DVDs to journalists, helping check in press at press screenings
  • Shadowing publicists on red carpets and helping with talent as needed
  • Conducting research for retrospectives and film series.
